How to make fried Lady Finger
Utensils
Frying pan
Spatula
Ingredients
Lady finger/ Okra (Ramtoriya/ bhindi) - 500 gms
Onions (sliced)- 2
Fenugreek and Thyme seed – few each
Turmeric powder - 1/4 table spoon
Red chili powder - 1/4th tea spoon
Cumin powder - ½ tea spoon
Coriander powder - ½ tea spoon
Garam masala - ½ tea spoon
Salt to taste
Vegetable oil -2 table spoon
Method
Cut the lady finger in circular shapes (before cutting wash the lady finger properly, don’t wash after it is cut)
Heat a pan
Add vegetable oil in it when oil is hot add fenugreek and thyme seed into it
Turn those two golden brown add the lady fingers
Stir it properly; add salt and turmeric powder (you may add turmeric powder when the oil is hot too)
Let it cook uncovered in medium heat for about 10 minutes
Slowly lady finger turn smaller and crunchy
When all these pieces looks crunchy add coriander powder, Garam masala powder and cumin powder
Stir it properly and add the red chili powder
Let it cook for 5 more minutes
Your Fried Lady finger is ready to serve!!!
